Lampwork glass shapes are fused directly to the sterling silver hooks and come in a variety of colours. The hooks of these earrings are part of the overall design, and are decorative, rather than merely functional. A small, translucent plastic keeper slides up behind the earlobe to hold the earring in place, so that it is not knocked out by your shoulders or collar.
Due to the handmade nature of these earrings there are some small variations in the length of the hooks between the pairs, but the hearts are all 1cm wide x 1cm high. The distance from the top of the hook to the point ranges from 6-6.5cm; the length of the drop from the top of the hook to the bottom of the heart is between 3cm and 3.3cm.
