I have used a prefabricated glass cane for this bead. The cane consists of black, red and yellow streamers suspended in transparent glass. I have wrapped this around a core of waxy yellow glass. The result is this set of pretty striped beads in autumn tones.
The beads have been knotted onto black Greek leather cord, and finished with sterling silver cord ends and lobster clasp.
The overall length of the necklace is approximately 54cm, with the beaded section being 28.5cm (including the knots at each end). The graduated beads range from 8mm diameter to 2cm diameter.
